i have recently transferred all of my home videos (vhs) on to a dvd. i dubbed. i did it on a machine at my dad’s house, and when i went home to show them to my family, the disks would not work on any of the dvd players that we have. the computer would not recognize them either. the dvds that i copied on are Memorex and they are DVD-R. so is there any free, safe software that i might be able to download on to the computer so i can at least show them on there?

A good view of the skyline or nature that’s accessible by train or bus. Somewhere I can just sit down, and read and think.

Definitely check out the Brooklyn Heights Promenade.

It’s got a lovely view of lower Manhattan, and there are many benches line the promenade. You can get there pretty easily by taking the R train to Court Street. Get off on the side that says "Montague Street" and take the elevator to the street.

Walk along Montague Street AWAY from Court Street (Court Street is the busy street that is perpendicular to Montague.) Montegue Street dead ends into the Promenade after 5 blocks or so.

I emailed a couple conversations as attachments that were saved on a computer from a few years ago. I tried opening them on a different computer (as XML files) with IE but it will not open. I get an error message. Is there a way to view these old conversations?

notepad should do fine, or editpad or any other advanced text editor. xmlspy is good, but probably overkill. MS xml notepad can open it in grid format,

My 16th birthday is coming up in May 2009, so I’m going away to Miami South Beach. I just cant find any hotels that offer good night clubs for teens near or in the hotel/resort. Please help!! :]
