Affordable houses with ocean view?
my dream house has to be next or near the ocean. Seems like the only houses with such views are million dollar homes..is this true? what are some areas that are cheap (with good quality of living) and nice houses by the ocean?
Maybe the African coast line. Although if you want a "good quality of living" you need to pay for it no matter where you build.
Has anyone stayed in a Norwegian Cruise Ship in a Ocean view with obstructed view? If so how is it?
I know that the price is cheaper. Was wondering what you thought of it?
I was on a Royal Caribbean ship with an obstructed view. It wasn’t bad, the lifeboats were the reason for the view as we were on the 8th floor. I was kind of like having a half window instead of a whole. I do like being able to look out the window when we arrive in port each morning and had no problem with it.
(I know you asked about NCL but there shouldn’t be much of a difference)

What room should I pick on a first time cruise ocean view or balcony?
I am looking into Carnival cruise leaving from San Juan, PR for 7 days on April 2010. This is my first time on a cruise and I need your experience on choosing a room and what level? Does it make a big difference whether you are at the bottom of the ship or the top? Some insite on your experience whether is from this cruise or any cruise would help a lot? Thank you,
I’ve done both as well, and sure, a balcony is terrific to have. However, I’ve had great cruises in my oceanview staterooms as well. I think it’s nice to have a balcony for those evenings after you’ve come back to your room and just want to sit quietly and listen to the ocean. It’s certainly my preference, but I don’t "have" to have one. Is there a huge cost difference between the oceanview that you’re considering and the balcony? I read a cruise blog that I listed in my resource box. I’m not sure if they cover that topic or not but they sell a guidebook on that site that’s called intelligent cruiser. I hesitated for a long time but then I finally bought t and am so glad I did. It saved me lots of money. I hope you have a great first cruise and that you get to go on lots more.
3 people room interior or ocean view?
we are sailing with Carnival this coming march and will be sharing a room for 3 people. i was wondering whether there is a big difference in space between the interior rooms and the ocean view ones, and do the OV rooms and balcony rooms have the same size? i’m just wondering whether it’s worth spending the extra money not because we want a view or a balcony but more b/c we want a bigger room to move around.
I asked the Carnival representitive the same question yesterday when booking my cruise. She told me that the ocean view and interior rooms are the same in size, and the window is the only difference. The ocean view appear to be larger on their website, but I am going to go with what the rep says and go with the cheaper room. Good luck!!
What is the best resort in either Captiva or Sanibel Island? Good ocean view with balcony.?
Assuming they’ve completed their complete hurricane reconstruction, South Seas Plantation is truly 5-star.
Beautiful ocean view

can some one tell how to get out of OCEAN VIEW IN GTA VICE CITY ?
i once i get inside i am not able to come outside. this is for ps2.
once i get in i can’t find the way i came in.
Just walk out of the door you came in from. If nothing happens then your game is glitched.
Did you go all the way upstairs into the hotel room? If you did, all you need to do is find the staircase. Yes, the hallway is a little dark, but a few seconds of looking around should find you a staircase down to the floor where you can save your game and go out of ocean view.
If you really can’t get out, quit and load your game again. It should put you right in front of the entrance, then walk on out.
Was booking ocean view rooms on the first deck of a cruise ship a big mistake?
I am a first time cruiser (who gets very car sick LOL) and I was a little pressed for money when I booked our cruise rooms. I heard that if you think you may get sea sick you should stay lower on the ship and to the middle (I accomplished that) but now I am hearing that the lower level rooms are the worst. Did I make a big mistake??
You will be ok on that deck. A mid ship cabin on a lower deck is the best place to be for motion sickness issues. Cabins on the higher decks feel the pitching and rolling of the ship much more. Please remember to take motion sickness precautions. I take Bonine but you can also take Ginger, sea-bands or even patches(behind ear). They all seem to work effectively. Sometimes, I never need to take the pills but I always start the first day with it, to be safe.
Hope I helped!
How can I set up a live ocean view camera of the local waves so that people can see it live on my website?
I am trying to set up a live streaming camera on the local oceans ( to allow surfers to see the current status of the waves). Where, and how, do I set this up so it can be viewed directly from my website?
Any help would be very much appreciated.
Thank you!
First of all, do you live near or on the beach? If so, then it would be simplest to set up a web cam in your backyard, the beach! But this may not be so helpful because, there are tides, weather factors, electric, and other factors to consider making a streaming web cast 24/7.
Here’s what you can do:
First, go to the lifeguard station or coast guard or whomever is responsible for the beach. Ask them for permission to build a camera set up live for monitoring the local ocean wave status.
Second, if they agree, build a standing birdhouse in the sand. Yes, I know that sounds nuts, but it will be a perfect place to situate your camera. Wire your web cam through PVC pipes with an extension cord to a nearby plug and computer. Then cover the bird house opening, where your camera lens should be situated, with some sort of hard plastic or clear covering. You should also build an opening on the roof of the web cam so you can safely turn off the web cam whenever you need to. Also add a lock to the opening so no one will try to steal your web cam.
Yes, it sounds somewhat complicated but it should work. If it doesn’t, go to this web site and ask the owners how they set up their camera:

I really hope this helps you with your, I might add, extremely creative idea. This is a great way to promote surfing!
