Florida in particular

Since the sun will not have set at the time it passes, it will not be visible. It is not large enough for it to reflect enough light to be visible during daylight hours.

I just want to understand a little bit better. Are our beliefs the same, or are there big differences? Are the views on salvation the same (Jesus is the eternal way to the Father)? I dont know very much about the Catholic faith and would like to better understand thank you! please no negativity here, theres already enough on R&S already and just want the differences thanks!

I have been emailing back and forth with a very nice Catholic man. He seems different than the rest of Catholics in that he believes only in Jesus’ perfect pardon for salvation. My mom was a Catholic and was not at all like him; she had way different beliefs. I think it depends on how much the person is really searching for truth. Anyhow, we have been considering publishing our letters, so that Protestants and Catholics can better understand each others faith and talk about their differences in a decent God honoring way way.

I’ve never heard one media report of a priest being arrested, booked at jail, brought to trial, and sentenced to jail for being a pedo. Why is this?

The Catholic Church is very powerful and they pull all the strings they can to control politicians (who control the police) and to repress the press.

i have a painting that could be by this artist but i’m not sure. if i could view her complete works somewhere i would know if its her work.

I can’t find a website showing solely her work, but google image search of her name gave me a lot of results with her paintings, (mostly her paintings):

Before the site was redone, when browsing through categories I would always see the newest questions at the top. Now I always see the oldest questions first from a week ago, and it drives me crazy. I will reset it to view "newest" but it never stays that way. Is anyone else having this issue? Is there a way to fix it permanently so I can view the newest questions first?

It’s one of the latest glitches and has been bothering users for days. Look at the top of the category lists where it says <sorted by>, click on oldest twice to get it changed to newest. It may again switch to sorted by oldest questions first, but now you know how to take care of the problem, at least temporarily…
