And gawd may have given him this song, but he shouldn’t bullshit about not having most of it written until he was drunk. It doesn’t happen this way, especially with rhyming lyrics. I hate that.

music is better … music is better expressed when there is a true emotion behind it. even though he may be singing of religion. the song connects to me in a different way. like that lonliness that we at times have but we have so much pride we wont shed a tear because it is better to be strong and move on. it feels like there’s an unrequited love. i’ve suffered enough of that and its repeated over and over again but i keep those emotions to my self. that song reminds of this and so much more.
