What is the approximate field of view inside a WW2 Tank? Like the Sherman or something.?

Uh, I’m thinking from like the turret itself looking out the front, I would have guessed about 45 degrees is that about correct?
You can’t see 360 at one time… I mean at the current turret rotation… thought that was obvious.

360 degrees! the turret rotates!

The driver’s field of vision was very limited – pretty much straight ahead and about 45-50 degrees laterally. The turret rotates so the TC got the full 360 IF outside. From inside it was limited to a periscope. . The loader saw nothing being inside.
