How do i hook my computer up so that i can view it on my tv?

Ive seen a couple videos, but they all say your laptop needs a " S Video" port. I dont see that on my laptop, so is there any other way to do it. Preferibly an inexpensive – easy way.

    if it’s just a cabling issue and you don’t have a s-video cable port you might have a HDMI output and you could use that if your tv has an HDMI input or you have a needed adapter…

    I just got four hdmi(version 1.3) at monoprice.com – you get great wiring without the prices charged by brick and mortar stores. If you can wait a couple days for delivery and you really wanted cheap – i’d go this route.
