How do I view old msn conversations that were saved on a different computer?

I emailed a couple conversations as attachments that were saved on a computer from a few years ago. I tried opening them on a different computer (as XML files) with IE but it will not open. I get an error message. Is there a way to view these old conversations?

notepad should do fine, or editpad or any other advanced text editor. xmlspy is good, but probably overkill. MS xml notepad can open it in grid format,

    Why do you need it on a different computer? Why do you not try it on the same computer?
