How do you view Greek language websites in English?

I am trying to read different Greek websites to research a trip I might be going on. I know there’s a way to view it in English besides copying and pasting everything into a translator. I use Firefox and I saw the character encoding options, but that didn’t work, unless I did it wrong. Is there a way to do that?

Go to www.google.com

Just to the right of the search box there is an item called "language tools". CLick it,

Input the web address of the site you want to translate and select Greek > English.

(By the way – how would just changing the alphabet to english characters ever work?)

You can’t do that.If the website is written on greek ,nothing you can do.You can change the encoding if you can’t see a foreign language but you cannot convert the code.
PS.There are many English websites with the info you need.Worst case senario let me know,I can provide info to you about my country!
