How do you get the new yahoo homepage to stay switched to compact view?

Whenever I turn my computer on and go to yahoo, the standard view comes up. I switch it to compact view every time but it never remembers next time I go on.

The new homepage isn’t finalized yet, there are still some bugs, as with every new web site. There are still problems with the new mail and that has been around for awhile.
