How do I get two Monitors to view from one desktop?

I purchased a splitter, I can view both monitors. Now what I would like to be able to do is view two documents one on each monitor – how can I do that? Is there hardware/software for that.
Where do I get such a dual video card? tnx

You cant. You would need a dual output video card to do this.
