Can I plug in my macbook to my Samsung HD LCD TV to view my videos from the web?

I have all the cables, but for now the tv manual states Windows XP only. I need to know if Mac use is possible.

Yes by using a standard monitor cable or a HDMI cable, if your TV/computer supports HD.

    Yes you can!

I’ve got a macbook pro and the sony Bravia. First I tried VGA, but it had a weird kind of ghost effect. But then I bought the mini displayport to HDMI and now I’ve got a great image. So get the Mini displayport to HDMI adapter, and an HDMI cable.

    example:

p.s. there’s no sound through HDMI, so you’d better have external input or surround sound system.

    Yes.

But you might need a cable adapter like Mini-DVI [Mac Style] to Conventional ones.
I used to handle MacDVI -> VGA adapters before during my previous job.

Usually this cable is sold separately, unless your deal bundled with it.

I take it that, since you asked, you do not have this cable.
Easily available. Any Mac accessories shop near you?

    Good luck!
