If Yoko were male I sincerely doubt that anyone would hate her this much. Seriously, double standards make me sick. Some of the most beloved male artists have been manipulative assholes. Lennon was abusive before he met Yoko. His peace activism was influenced by her.

Sean Lennon is extremely talented. Friendly Fire is AWESOME!!!! Yoko is a terrible musician, but as she has gotten older she really seems like a great person. But why did Sean compare the crows of the View to the Beatles!!!! Dang!!!

@juliannisaakfan great way to put it!! Sean can’t help but be nice, it’s his mother and being the manipulative person she is, we don’t know what crap she is holding over his head to behave. The View cast is kissing Yoko’s ass, just as Sean is doing to them. That show is light tv, not thought provoking in the least and the only reason anybody goes on there is to promote something they have out in the media. Yoko and Sean are promoting her “music” (using the term lightly!) and nothing else.

You want to know why they weren’t as good? because it’s hard for a child of a great musician and try to make your own name for yourself because in other people’s eyes you’ll just be “their son” and because of that they Try to be as different as they can be but the public won’t accept it because it’s not as good as their parents OR it’s good but it’s not what their parents did. and Especially being the child of a beatle it’s pretty hard to make a name for yourself living in your fathers shadow

Not that I really expect any intellectual or logical thought process from the women on the View, but the comments about Yoko being innocent are quite naive & short sided & possibly sexist. I think its sick for them to praise a woman who mentally abused & tormented John & pretend like nothing happened. When Yoko left John, John was finally able to reconcile with his friends & family. With Yoko out of the way, John was able to get reacquainted with his son from his first marriage.

Read books on the background from people who knew them & even Yoko’s book. You will find that Yoko was manipulative & played mind games w/John. She was using him to promote a career for herself. Yoko is a complete nut. I am not a huge beatles fan but I have read quite a bit about the Yoko story because I was really curious. She cheated on John, left him then came back after she realized she couldn’t make it on her own. Her dominance over John & strong arm tactics are what broke up the Beatles.

Sean and Julian both sound like john, one sounds like the older john and one sounds like a very young and youthful john..funny how voice types work huh?

Carlos, you obviously havent looked very hard or are completely uninformed….Sean is a great musician in his own right, he isnt gay either but you sir are narrow minded….dhani is a great musician as well….you just cant let go of your old time favorites…..
