    Save Constellation! …
Save Constellation! Knowledge is more than healthreform!
Americans could and did live without one. And they are healthy!
    Constellation=Knowledge=Life

    All of this has …
All of this has happened before, and it will happen again…

  3. evil13rt says:

    It was an amazing …
It was an amazing time, back when Vision was the standing policy and more than just a phrase on a bumper sticker.

These days we no longer look up to the stars. We should start looking at ourselves and come to terms with how far we’ve strayed.

    no words…
    no words…

  5. Nighthawke70 says:

    From the depths of …
From the depths of the pit comes fiery tongues of man-made hell, lashing downwards and out, incinerating anything that it can touch, making the ground tremble and shake, the likes of what man has never wrought until then. Then as a white phoenix, riding a yellow-white tail of flame and smoke, rises from her cradle to ascend to the heavens, on a quest to touch, then conquest the heavens themselves as if in defiance of the gods themselves…

    2nd song is Roslin …
2nd song is Roslin and Adama from BSG – season 2. I would recommend buying that entire soundtrack…Season 2 is fantastic.

Sweet video! if you don’t get the chills from this, you need to check your pulse.

  7. JordanDLanham says:

    The second one is …
The second one is called Roslin and Adama. Also from the second season of Battlestar Galactica

  8. JordanDLanham says:

    I’m currently doing …
I’m currently doing a documentary on the Space Shuttle program and was looking for older footage of the Saturn V and Apollo days. I watched this and it was so beautiful I wanted to cry. Great music selection for sure!

  9. youtubister says:

    I think the music …
I think the music works very well with this. Nice.

  10. mbugal says:

    If you think that …
If you think that watching this on video is awe inspiring try standing about 3 miles from one of these monsters at lift off. I was going to take pictures and all I could do was stand there with my mouth hanging open.

    The Greatest Machine Ever Built.

    incredible…

  15. TheGreatGizzo says:

    the Saturn V was …
the Saturn V was the most sophisticated and powerful thing man has ever created and probably will ever create because of (how) it was built. If we wanted to build a Saturn V today, we could not do it. We would have to start from scratch all over again, everything would have to be relearned, re tested. Knowledge of building such a thing has been lost in time and will. The knowledge and the plans are non existent. The technology involved in the Saturn V outmatches anything we have today.

    Wernher von Braun …
Wernher von Braun made it real!

    BSG-Soundtrack AND …
BSG-Soundtrack AND Saturn V, thats almost too much for me.

  18. byronmhome says:

    When the people …
When the people unite for a common cause, anything is possible. People today say “our government can never do anything right” Beyond ending slavery, building the great interstate system, fighting against fascism in WWII and so much more, we landed MAN on the moon. To all those who say we can’t unite to do something, i say YES WE DID and YES WE CAN

  19. MySmegma says:

    Saturn V had 100 …
Saturn V had 100 000 000 000 W of power.. a family car has only 100 kW, nuclear power station has only 150 000 000 W.. Saturn V was one of the most powerfull and loudest creation human ever made

    jesus i knew that …
jesus i knew that sounded familiar. dam i love the BSG soundtrack!

  21. EpsilonKnight7 says:

    I wasn’t even alive …
I wasn’t even alive for this, but it evokes a feeling I can only describe as awe and nostalgia. I can imagine being there when the ground shook at liftoff, knowing there were fellow human beings stuffed in a tiny metal cone at the top, that they were going to the moon. I’m caught up and lost in the raw power of those rockets, used for such an admirable purpose: expansion, not harm. This appeals like nothing else to my sense of adventure and discovery. Throw me in with the lot that cried.

  22. empyohon says:

    Why did you cry?. …
Why did you cry?. Was it awe or perhaps the magnificence of the endeavor. Or maybe the light burned your eyes.

  23. hunterhalo2 says:

    I found this video …
I found this video so profound that I started crying. It means so much to me.

  24. anorak2 says:

    You wouldn’t have …
You wouldn’t have any space technology without German engineering. Neither would Russia.

  25. Galeati08 says:

    CEVorion…. Im …
CEVorion…. Im going to write letters to my senators to spend time at allocating at the very least 3% of the federal budget to NASA…. why do I not deserve to see men and women land on the moon in my lifetime!
